Lots of our customers have tried Ragin’ Ape’s BODY SLAM soap. We see a ton of re-orders and are always working to perfect the next batch. We had an interesting question about what it means to call our product “Organic”. Great question, here’s the Ape’s answer;
Please note that the Ape doesn’t use the word “Natural” to describe or market our soap. The term “Natural” has no real definition, and any company can make a junk, synthetic product and call it natural. Natural has no standards, proof or certification. BODY SLAM soap bars, in contrast, are made according to USDA standards, which means they have also passed the USDA’s rigorous certification process.
“Organic” applies to several aspects of Ragin’ Ape BODY SLAM soap. First, it guarantees that there are no synthetic fragrances, colors, or preservatives in the soap. “Natural” cannot guarantee that, and many “natural” products contain these unhealthy synthetic ingredients. Second, it guarantees that all the oils and herbs were grown – and processed – according to organic standards (no pesticides, no radiation, environmentally friendly methods, etc.). Products that are not certified organic, even though they use plant-based ingredients, still may be causing harm to the earth because those non-organic raw ingredients were grown with pesticides or farmed by clear-cutting forests.
Bottom line, we’ve gone to great lengths to create an effective, clean, sustainable and skin-friendly soap that “STOPS THE STINK“. We hope we’ve answered the question, and that you’ll enjoy BODY SLAM soap as much as we do! Until next time, LIVE PRIMAL
